Cape Cod Composting Network
Go Back to Programs and Services

We are a community working group focused on organics diversion, regional composting options and community partnerships. Our participants include local haulers, farmers, private industry, Cape Cod Cooperative Extension, County Health and Environment, municipal Health and DPW departments, restaurants and affiliated compost enthusiasts.
The Cape Cod Composting Network formed in October of 2014 in response to the Commercial Food Waste Ban. Our goal is to increase the number of compost sites that accept food waste, and to make food waste diversion an economically viable option for local businesses.
