Mashpee Public Bathing Beach Water Quality Report

Beaches are tested weekly for bacterial indicator organisms during the summer bathing season (June to August). Select beaches have been granted a variance. This means that due to low bacteria levels over past years, they have been designated as pristine beaches that are approved for monthly sampling. In the event of a beach failure, the beach in question will be re-sampled daily thereafter until results permit re-opening. The weekly and monthly sample results for this season will be included in this chart. Green indicates good water quality and red indicates bacteria levels above the acceptable standard. Blue indicates that a sample was not taken because the beach was found to have pristine waters that have been approved for monthly sampling. Clear indicates that a sample was not taken that day.
